Partridge Welsummer – a magnificent heritage breed originating from The Netherlands in the original colour recognised by the Dutch.

A magnificent addition to any backyard, richly coloured attractive plumage, docile, elegant and inquisitive birds. Non broody. Can be sexed at hatch time although not as easily as Autosexing breeds like Cream Legbars. Great layers of brown, speckled, patterned and occasionally pink eggs.

Hens from some of the best show lines in Australia, bred by the most dedicated Andrew Brown of Clearview Poultry. Covering Rooster from NSW show lines with dark egg genetics and no white at the base of tail.

Technical Information:

Incubation at 37.6C – 40% humidity.

The eggs do not need to be rested when received and can be added to a pre-heated incubator, but we do recommend candling and a secondary thermometer for any incubator. Please check our pinned posts for candling and incubation
